Senior Speak 924

In this third part of a series of Senior Speak, host Edith Morgan speaks on her life history, escaping the Nazi Holocaust with her family as a young girl, landing in New York Harbor on Labor Day, 1941, just three months before Pearl Harbor and America's entry into WWII. From New York harbor, her family lived as refugees at the Quaker-run Scattergood Hostel in West Branch, Iowa, where they learned English and adjusted to life in America.
